Alison Templin started her swimming career at age 8 right here in Palm Beach County. At a young age, Alison knew she was going to be a Distance Freestyler. As an age-group swimmer she scored top three at JO’s and earned her first Sectional cut at 12. In high school, she earned All-American status in the 200 and 500 Free and was also named 2008 Palm Beach County Swimmer of the Year. While in college she was a four-time scoring contributor at the SEC Championship, and excelled by posting National and Olympic Trial qualifying times. At Arkansas, an emphasis was placed on stroke technique which gives her proficient knowledge in teaching proper swimming skills.
